Njǫrd, God of the Sea

They stem from a legendary bloodline of fishermen, known for their hard work an determination. Today, they have traded their fishing boats for ion propulsion ships, long gone are the values their ancestors once held.

There is talk from the Jara elders that the winds of change are in motion, the tides of Ragnarök have begun, and the only salvation from the great doom is for the Jara to take their rightful place as the one true faction, with Njǫrd at the helm.

Having roamed this planet over 2000 years ago, drunken fisherman’s tales of his Golden Boat crashing a top the great waves remain sketched on holy transcripts across the city. The Jara reptiles still pray to Njǫrd every night for prosperity and safe refuge, refuge from the doom that is said to come. But the Jara will not sit idly by and accept fate. They will fight to prevent Ragnarök.
