Storyline, Ragnarök Reptiles Radioactive

Ragnarök is upon us!

The sky darkened and the blistering winds partnered the crackling thunder to create what was a perfect storm. The Jötnar had arrived. Ascending from the Southern Hemisphere these frozen giants had arrived as was written in ancient scriptures. The events of Ragnarök were playing out and the entirety of reptile civilisation was at risk. Mere mortals retreated as soldiers joined the Immortals in charging towards the battle. Rival factions joined together in an effort to defeat Jötnar but many were slain. The Reptilian cries to each of their Gods grew in noise as the casualties rose, and from the clouds the God's emerged. They took to battle alongside their Reptilian descendants but despite their valiant efforts the Jötnar emerged victorious. Repgard had fallen to the Giants and the magnificent world built upon generations of Reptilians stood desolated. Resources were stolen and infrastructures destroyed, the skies soon became flooded with Jötnar drones and spotters to oversee the inevitable looming destruction as the Giants retreated towards the Southern Hemisphere once again - on their departure they filled the Reptol Nuclear Plant with explosives and set the timer. As the clock struck zero a huge boom filled the air, smashing windows and destroying nearby structures, a mushroom cloud of radioactive material propels into the atmosphere following the nuclear blast. A light bright enough to blind and an intense heat hot enough to melt the bones of anything unfortunate enough to enter its radius.

Repgard was falling...

Small glowing particles of sand rained down from the sky for months on end following the explosion and a thick layer of radioactive dust lines the streets with only a thick, dark radioactive smog left to breathe... The Long Winter is replaced with a season of intense heat, black rain pours from the yellow clouds over the corrupted runes of Asgard. Jötnar surveillance drones scan the area and to them it seems that nothing has survived the catastrophic events. For many years Thor's hammer, Mjölnir, remains untouched at the base of the powerplant... One morning as the drones are close to departure, signalling the end of Asgard, their sensors spot what looks to be outlines of Reptilian figurines creeping through the thick, dense fog beneath them. The images they see don't resemble the same Reptiles that once roamed these lands, body mutilations and deformities can be seen throughout their silhouettes... Could it be that some of the Reptiles have survived these extremely harsh conditions? Have they been hiding in the shelters of Asgard deep down within the earths crust? Was this really the end of the Reptilian civilisation?
